Final Video Project Idea

Final Video Project Idea

There is various questions that have been asked in regards to my final video project. The questions are "What will my video be about?", "How would I alter the video if it were a radio spot?", and "How would I alter the video if it was dealing with a specific demographic?". Those are all great questions so let's get started in answering them:

1. Describe the video you will produce
-The video that I will produce is a how to make macaroni & cheese video. I'm going to start off by recording a short clip of all the equipment and ingredients that I'm using in order to make the macaroni & cheese. Then, I'm going to have an estimation of about 4 still images and each image is going to show the step by step process of how I make the macaroni & cheese. Also, I'm going to include voice narration for each image. The last part is also going to be a short clip of me tasting the macaroni & cheese and telling you that it is GREAT(of course). I'm going to include background music in the whole 1-2 minute video.

2. Describe how you would alter the video if you were to produce it using different media, such as print, or a radio spot.
-If I were to alter my video and use it in a radio spot then, I would have to include voice narration the whole time. Also, I would have to give a more in depth step by step process on how to make the food because I wouldn't have pictures to use anymore. The background music would still be implemented in the radio spot.

3. Describe how you would alter the video if you were to target a specific demographic, such as age, sex, education-level, etc.
-My specific demographics would be: age is 15, sex is male & female, and their education-level would be their in high school. If I was talking to this specific audience then I would have to fully articulate my instructions of how to make the macaroni & cheese because most of them wouldn't have much experience in cooking because they are a younger crowd but, if they were older it would be a totally different story, they would better understand how to cook.
